A Nice Mello dive

- that's how I'd describe it. Much like Hapers Ferry Pier. Easey entry with stairs. Flat bottom going out, apx 20-40' max, level and scattered little piles of rocks etc for things to hide in. Also a bottle garden (see BPJhonson 101 dives) Take compass bearing back to shore and watch for fisherpeople on the pier.
A nice dive for a Mellow day. Parking is on the highway, with 4 spots off of it. Would be best during the winter when not much activity at the Pier.

Directions:

West Seattle to Fauntleroy Ferry to Vashon Island - south 7miles, 20 minutes? go left on 204th Street stop light (going up a slight hill) towards water on the left side. Follow the road down to the water and south to the pier. You'll see it.
