Great diving and camping.
Nice quiet bay with campsites on a bluff over the water. Bay diving pretty much a sand dive along the northern rock shore but a good dive to just take it easy. South end of the island under the Marina gas station (burned down) is a good dive, with kelp, rocks, much like Keystone including the wharf pilings. Several other sites, but none really Fantastic as shore dives. Boat diving, I'm sure is different, but the access is by boat. Doesn't do much good if you're camping out....
I think once a year, early or late in the season is enough to come back for. Watch for currents as it's a small island and fairly exposed all around.

Directions:
Catch the Lopez ferry out of Anacortes, becareful of the times, not all ferrys stop there.
Also, a little tricky getting OFF the island as there is limited space. We caught the 1:35 is a dedicated for apx 100 cars. Get there apx 1 hour or more. Great Burgers there.
