Here's the Big Red Fire Boat everyone's been talking about... the parking is just about 100 yds past.

Water: Drinking at the Restrooms

Showers: didn't see any

Parking: yes, should be enough
lock your cars and gear

Restaurants in the area, also Old Town just around the boat and up the hill at the stop light.

Park towards the west side as the entrance is on a walkway a little further down. |

An OK dive, scale of 1-10 about a 4. Mud Dive, watch for Fishermen, First in gets the spot. Reportedly you need a Dive Flag. I got hooked at the tire reef towards the fishing pier. Go figure...
Also, might be a little rough neighborhood in the evenings and nights. Reported "Gang" activity so plan accordingly. ;-((

Directions:
I-5 to exit #133 just south of the Tacoma Dome.
All the way around, NW, Turns into Shore Road along the water front, past the big grain cylinders on the water to the Big Red Fire Boat (see above). Parking is just past that..
